If you could figure it out, you could get exactly the kind of attention you wanted, where and when you wanted it. And you can use that to your advantage.

You can rob someone blind while they're sleeping, you can make them buy you things. You can make then hand over information they don't even know they're giving you because they're too busy trying to guess what color your underwear is.

When you don't want to go off hitting people and making stupid noises that'll give you away, and you need to get around or through someone.

Or when you need to get to someone and you're technically outgunned.

Or when you lose that switch and any of those things apply.
