Facts are only facts because people believe in them. The same holds true for opinions.

Facts can be conclusively proven. Opinions may be the same as facts, but that doesn't automatically make them that.

Facts are nothing but widely accepted opinions. A person could find a why to prove their opinion. And just because something is considered fact, doesn't make it correct.
